Things That Make Me Go Mmmmm - Seared Beef Salad @ Liberty Grill Cork

Not only do the delightful people at Liberty Grill serve brunch till 5pm daily (complete with breakfast cocktails - sigh!), and serve the best burgers/salads in town for prices you can't beat, but I discovered today that they posted the recipe for one of my favourite dishes on their Facebook page!!

Things That Make Me Go Hmmm - The Postcard Plot

On a recent trip to NY, I picked up a pack of postcards with different movie poster images like the one above from Hitchcock's Vertigo. I thought at the time it would be a fun thing to send them randomly to my friends, but then sort of forgot about my idea, until this morning I read this article about the Mysterious Letters - what an absolutely gorgeous thing to do!

So my Postcard Plot is an effort to reclaim the postal service from the clutches of bills and junk mail and re-invest a little glamour and imagination in it....
